So here we go again! The start of a new year and a chance to document our weekly going ons and see the changes and growth that happens over the year! I'm excited to see what unfolds!

I have forgotten how hard it is to take decent photographs when the days are so dark and gloomy and you hardly leave the house, I'm yearning for longer days and warmer tones. Last week we were treated to one, just one sunny day so we headed out straight away for a very manic run around a National Trust. We'd been cooped up for a bit too long! It's amazing (but a little scary) to see all the rivers swollen and bursting their banks, tree roots submerged and wildlife discovering the changed landscape. I just hope that the waters haven't caused too much harm and damage those people effected.
